Rudy's Scar Grille - Wilmington

The restaurant offers generous portions and is a lovely spot to dine when the weather is nice. We chose to sit outside for our meal.

Glad I read the reviews. The lobster roll was great. Our staff was awesome and personable even though they were busy.

Nice little hole in the wall place. Went here for dinner with wife and three kids. Got poutine and onion petal appetizers, both were great! Waited a pretty long time for our entrees, but had some card games and corn hole to keep us occupied. I got the meatloaf sundae, wife got mushroom burger, two kids shared huge fish and chips, and the other kid got bacon Mac and cheese. Portions were very generous. All were really good! Would recommend after a long day of enjoying the outdoors. Would go back.

Great little spot! We sat outside both times we went. Service was great, though the food came out a bit slower than my children would have preferred. The tomato soup in the bread bowl was amazing. Plenty of parking, and they can support large groups inside and outside.

I have been visiting the Olympic region since I was a child in the late 1970s. I lived here in the 80s and 90s while training as an athlete. If you want to experience the true essence of this area, stay here, ski at Whiteface, and enjoy drinks and food at Rudy's Scar Bar. There is very little left of the region that I fell in love with, but this place embodies the spirit of the old school Adirondacks. With its wood and brick decor, great beer selection, delicious food, and friendly service, this is the place to be. I will definitely be returning regularly in both winter and summer.
