Yo Sake Downtown Sushi Lounge

The ambiance was great, as always. The food was disappointing considering the chicken lettuce wraps came with three sauces but the waitress never even took the time to explain them to us. The tempura fried green beans were excellent with the wasabi dipping sauce, their version of bang bang shrimp was really good. But one of the people at my table, ordered sushi and that literally took almost 20 to 25 minutes to come to the table again with no explanation from the waitress. All she had to do was stop by the table and just say I’m sorry for the delay, but the guys making sushi are extremely busy and I’ll get your order out to you as soon as possible. I then stop somebody and said are you a manager and he said no but I can help you I told him that I thought it was kind of upsetting that nobody notified us that her dish would take longer than the rest of ours he just looked at me like I had 10 heads and mention that he would tell a manager but new manager ever stop by our table. Needless to say they need help with training on customer service and how to talk to the guests and inform them of any delays or specifics about dishes that come to the table

This restaurant is always a fantastic choice for sushi and a enjoyable evening out.

Yo Sake is our favorite restaurant whenever we are in town for a show or dropping off our son at the theatre. The food is delicious and the ambiance is great. We also enjoy bringing visitors from out of town to Yo Sake for a fantastic meal.

We love Sushi and Yo Sake is always our 1st pick. Love that chief recognizes us when we come in, and he knows I love octopus. Always makes us feel special. Their martinis are top notch also!
