This BBQ is fantastic, though it's not the traditional NC style. Instead, it leans more towards a Tex-Mex BBQ vibe with delicious brisket and pulled pork. The sauce is tangy, thick, and tomato-based, which adds a wonderful flavor. The sides are great too! Exciting news: a sit-down restaurant will be opening soon near Denny's!

I find the food to be excellent! So far, I've tried the chicken plate with sides, and it certainly exceeded my expectations. The portion sizes are generous, the seasoning is just right, and the service is outstanding. I tend to be very discerning about where I eat, especially if I think I could do better myself, but I have no complaints at all. I absolutely love it here!

This barbecue will leave you wanting more! I’m usually quite selective when it comes to BBQ, but when I read that their sauce isn’t vinegar-based like most places in North Carolina, I knew I had to try it. I ordered the ribs and brisket, while my wife opted for the BBQ sandwich. This place certainly does not disappoint! Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The ribs were tender and fell right off the bone, and the brisket was leaner than what you find in some places (I won't mention any names). It’s a family-owned, Black business, too! I tried to stop by on a Monday, but unfortunately, they were closed, and I was genuinely disappointed for the first time in 2022. But that’s okay—I’ll definitely make it a point to visit the next time I’m in town!

The food and service were fantastic. The atmosphere felt a bit odd since the place was empty, probably because I visited early, but overall everything was excellent. The ribs and pork and beans were especially outstanding.
