Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Wilson

Popeye's is one of my favorite places to eat. Every time I visit Wilson, I make sure to stop by. The food is consistently hot and fresh during my visits, and I've never had an issue with my order. The customer service is also friendly. Additionally, the interior and parking lot are always clean.

Customer Warning! I was quite disappointed with the size of the 8-piece Hushpuppy Shrimp. For over $8 plus tax that Popeyes charges, it really should be a 16-piece. Also, be aware that they are spicy! On a positive note, the signature chicken, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and biscuits were all hot, fresh, and delicious.

I visited the Popeyes on Raleigh Rd in Wilson today, and it was the worst experience. First, the line was moving incredibly slowly, and I ended up waiting much longer than expected. When I finally ordered, I was instructed to park and wait for just one pie, which made the wait even longer. At one point, I thought they had forgotten about us. Eventually, we received our food, but to my dismay, there were no napkins, sauce, or utensils included. I ended up having to eat my mashed potatoes out of the container, getting creative and using the lid as a makeshift spoon since nothing was provided. As I was eating, I noticed a strange taste and texture in the potatoes. Upon closer inspection, I realized it looked like mold! By that point, I was halfway to Tarboro and utterly disgusted, so I threw everything away. I will never return to that Popeyes again.

Ordered through the app and came to pick it up. When I got to the drive-thru, they asked for my name and everything was fine until I got to the window. At the window, we waited 20-30 minutes and the lady handed us the wrong order. It was a $60 order so we didn 't want to just take off with it so we confronted the employee about it. When we told her that we got the wrong order, the lady got mad at us and blamed us for getting the wrong order because apparently we didn 't correct her even though we couldn 't because we were under the impression that she was making our order. She then made us pull out our order and took our phone for 10 minutes. Will not be coming back.

Sorry to say the grease tasted old and it was as salty as it was hot couldn't finish it I wasted 8 bucks. So that hurts my feelings and pocketbook. But also the red beans and rice were dry take a look at those beans they look like glue they're dried up and gummy. Just not a good day for chicken I guess. But the person that took my order was so good and friendly she did a great job in taking my water very upbeat thank you for that that's probably the only reason why I'm not turning around and taking this stuff back.
