Wilsonton Hotel - Wilsonton Heights

To be honest, we didn't expect much but friends were over that side of town so we have it a try.Food was sensational. Lamb shanks were Devine. Meat fell off the bone and sauce was rich and full of flavor. I had the beef pie and it was amazing. Tasted great and presented well. Gravy was tasty and was served on a perfect amount of mash potato and mushy peas.Truly a great meal and will go back

We went to the restaurant as a family. Nice affordable pub food. I had the pork ribs and the meat fell of the bones as it said it would on the menu. Only problem was the chips had chicken salt on them. All the other meals were lovely. Food was delivered nice and quickly. Drinks were a good price as well.

My elderly parents took my sister and I out for lunch today, we were seated in a great location away from the children's play area. The place was very open and airy and our tables were well spaced apart. We had the usual drinks and the menu was fairly extensive covering all areas for fish, chicken, steak etc.I had crispy skin salmon, yummy!! Dad had fillet streak cooked to perfection and Mum and sister had Chicken Oscar - everything was great and very affordable

We had a meal here with family, and I had the chicken wings as my main meal, thought it was an entree. My chicken wings weren't cooked enough for me, as they were still pink inside, so I only ate a small amount. The rest of the family had steak, fish and salmon and theirs were cooked to their liking. Both hubby and I had cheesecake which was absolutely wonderful.

Having eaten here the previous night and lunch, I decided one last time before I left town.The two previous times I had steak, both times they were cooked perfectly and tasted great.Tonight I went the Parma, what a disappointment! The chicken schnitzel was one of those processed ones, which really are glorified rubber.So if coming here order the steak, it's great, avoid the chicken like the plague.
