But here I'd just like to mention that they also make a killer martini, and the french onion soup is to die for. You can get a pretty good fish dinner at cat fish Dewey's not that far away, but you just can't beat the drinks, great service, soups and salads here at Old Florida sea food. Yes, it costs a lot more the catfish Dewey's, but again it's a case of you get what you pay for. Old Florida is just an overall wonderful special place to dine, You will never be embarrassed taking friends there, they always measure up.
Always a standby favorite. They never really change, so they always stay about the same...good.
I have been coming here with my grandparents since I was young, and now I take my wife here for a nice night out. The shrimp dishes are all large, and around 20-25 a piece, with 2 side dishes and soup or salad. Very large good quality shrimp. We both had Shrimp De Jonghe with tempura zucchini and a stuffed potato. The De Jonghe is a dish I hardly see at other restaurants and every time I’ve tried ordering it somewhere else it never compares to Old Florida.
Very Home Style. The Stone Crabs are the freashest in South Florida.
I have come to this landmark of seafood restaurants for 22 years and it is always incredible. I love the fish, chowders, and the best seafood combination in Florida. If you want great seafood and service Old Florida is your one stop for fine dining.
