Tropics Grille - Wilton Manors

I hadn't been to Tropics in a decade, but it's still just as fantastic as I remember.

This is the first time at the new Tropics Grille. We had a party of and made reservations thru Open Table. We were seated immediately upon arrival minutes early). Our waiter was fantastic, very knowledgeable. Two of us had the lamb chop special was excellent and cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend and will be returning soon.

Arrived at for a dinner reservation at Had cocktails, arrived at the reception sharp. Through Open Table made a request for a banquet. Receptionist confirmed that request upon arrival at however, at the appointed dinner reservation there were no banquets reserved...all taken with other diners. Not happy about that and had to be seated in an adjacent room until a banquet became available.

They do not honour OpenTable reservations. We went there and were told they don’t look at OpenTable reservations and that they were now busy and would be happy to put us on a waiting list. Recommend you delist them from your service. Also looks like the set from “Behind the Candelabra.” God awful place.

We were a little concerned, when we didn't get our usual table, but ended up right in front of the stage which was fun when the show started. Excellent service by Edgar, again. He just take care of everything. Great food! Great drink! Fun show! What's not to like?
