Contribuisci feedbackThis was our first time ordering from this restaurant and unfortunately, we were not impressed. The naan bread was burnt and the chicken tikka tasted and looked more like chicken korma. When we called to address the issue, we were told that this is how they make their tikka and were essentially accused of lying about the burnt naan bread. They offered 10% off our next order, but we explained that we would not be ordering from them again. It's a shame because we had high hopes for this place.
Website blip rang to confirm I required a delivery order. Kind and courteous response. Food arrived and we live just over 3 miles from the restaurant, the food was piping hot. Makes a real change to have food arrive as if its straight out of the kitchen. Great value for money and good portion sizes. I ordered something different than I thought I had. Food was delicious and will definitely be ordering from here again.
Believe me when I say, this is by far the best Indian takeaway I’ve tried in all of Wiltshire. Restaurants is a different story. But in terms of Indian takeaways, this one is amazing. I ordered on a Thursday. They were really polite on the phone, took my order, double checked everything, asked if I wanted anything else. Took the order and I paid by cash, there was a delivery charge to durrington but it’s only £1 which is a lot cheaper than many other places. Order came roughly 40 minutes later, when they said it’d take 45-60 mins, so very happy. The driver was very polite, so gave him a tip aswell. Then to top it off, the actual food. Best Indian takeaway I’ve had in so long. The masala is beautiful and the chicken tikka tastes delicious, not like chicken tikka I’ve had from other Indian takeaways. I wish I ordered more, I easily would’ve ate 2 chicken tikka masalas to myself, big portions aswell. Definitely ordering regularly from here.
Well we decided to give this place a go due to the reviews I was hearing from friends and family So glad we did, as the other Indian in amesbury have got so expensive and there food quality has got so bad. The food here was very nice full of flavour and decent size portions. My wife gets the biriyani and normally I'm not a fan of this but here I took her leftovers to work. My curry was good lovely heat and flavours aswel. Will definitely be back
Order food at 18:00hrs still waiting at 20:20hrs phoned Amesbury spice told it would be about another 20 minutes so nearly 3hrs, I can’t eat Indian food after 20:00hrs I cancelled the order, Chef on line then rang me to tell me I would have to wait about a week for refund. This is the second time out of 3 I’ve had to wait over two and a half hrs. will not use Amesbury Spice or Chef on line again. If Amesbury Spice can phone me to tell me don’t forget the £1 for the driver they could also say sorry you may have to wait two and a half hours for you food. Worst takeaway and delivery service I’ve had.
