The management have added to the ambience with carefully curated artwork which is a pleasing distraction. But the real plus of the café is its friendly, helpful and hardworking staff. There is seemingly nothing they can’t do to help you have a great time. Oh, and the coffee and cakes are superb and generously portioned. I love it!
Staff were excellent as usual, friendly and very helpful..would like to mention Trina the waitress she always goes beyond and above to help us and is always very, very polite....the same goes for the Manager Sheryl, nothing is too much trouble for her,she chats to everyone and is very friendly and hard working.... We use this cafe 3-4 times a week for personal meetings with friends. I also support people with a L.D there several times a week and the standard of support around the people I support is amazing ...over and beyond fantastic to them all....
Very friendly staff and great service, dare I say best normal and vegetarian breakfast in Trowbridge.
I took lunch at Boswells in the Shires at Trowbridge during a shopping trip in April. I must say that I have never seen it so busy in there. Nevertheless the servers coped admirably. I ordered an all day breakfast and a regular cappuccino and that came to £12.10. The drink was served at the payment place and the meal was brought to my (numbered) table quickly despite the crowds. Both were delicious. The only problem is that this cafe is situated in a building which was originally a chapel so the acoustics are terrible when the room is full of people talking. I would advise those who do not like noise to sit just outside at the tables near the entrance and dine that is still a covered area within the Shires.
Dident actually purchase anything in the end, Staff member was so abrupt (maybe dident like her job) , definatly needs customer service training , went elsewhere with lovely warm staff .
