The Bridge Inn - Wiltshire

Do yourself a favour and visit this pub. Food is excellent. Cal is an awesome Chef. Had the Pork chop last night (part of the Choptober event probably the best porkchop I have ever had in a restaurant. Thursdays is also records and ribs night (play old vinyl records and eat the best ribs in town. All the staff are fantastic, friendly and happy to help. never had a bad experience in this pub, always a pleasure to return (most 3 times a month or more go again and again and work your way through the menu, you will not regret it (other than your waistline :

Excellent service, food superb! Had the fillet steak and my wife had the Chicken ham and leek pie, steak cooked to perfection and food generally of a high standard, would definitely return!

Visited for dinner in august, really friendly welcoming staff. I thought the menu was great the food when I finally picked was great. Would definitely return.

We rented a narrow boat for 4 days from Devizes. This pub is 3 miles east of Devizes and has the best visitor mooring available between Devizes and Wotton Rivers. Although initially very overgrown with nettles when we returned 3 days later it had been well strimmed. The other pubs on this section of the canal have visitor moorings but in practice they were all completely jammed up by long term residential boats (annoying! . The pub has a beer garden with play area. The menu was on the face of it rather limited but I very much enjoyed the fillet and sirloin steaks with excellent chips and trimmings. Callum seems to the guy that runs the place and cooks the food. He very helpfully lent us a corkscrew for the holiday. If you are on a narrow boat passing this way you would be mad to stop here overnight.

Owner was unnecessarily rude without provocation. The garden is shabby, benches falling apart. Plenty of other pubs.
