Today, the middle-aged man who served us at the restaurant was quite dismissive when we ordered our drinks. In the future, we plan to go to Meraki instead, as they offer better customer service. We were reminded of the kind and polite young man who used to work at Coffee Barn; it is a shame he no longer works there. It makes us wonder if the man who served us today prefers serving locals over tourists. Regardless, we believe that all customers should be treated with respect.
I frequently stop by this restaurant after my Sunday morning walk and the service is always excellent with a smile. I usually enjoy an Americano, which is always top-quality, and sometimes pair it with a bacon sandwich or sausage roll. I highly recommend this hidden gem to everyone. I am looking forward to my next visit!
During our visit to Bradford-on-Avon, my sister and I stopped at The Coffee Barn for a drink after a walk. We ordered hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows. Unfortunately, after a long wait for our drinks, we were disappointed to find that they were made with hot water and the hot chocolate powder was not well mixed in. It was a below average drink for the price we paid.
Lovely people run this delightful cafe. A great lunch, excellent coffee, vegan chorizo sandwich was extraordinary. After a walk along the river and towpath we returned for afternoon tea. Super fresh scone but the tiffin won the day. In fact it was so good we asked for a takeaway and the lovely staff kindly and generously obliged. Great location by the tithe barn too and safely managed.
