Not many options on the menu but there are loads of items to make your own sandwiches and salads etc with, peppers, (amazing) houmous, avocado etc. They now do avo on toast (ask for no butter) which is great with their balsamic dressing. The strawberry and mango gelatos are also secretly vegan friendly!! and strawberry and mango milkshakes can be made with dairy-free milk (almond or soya). Dark hot chocolate with almond/soya is also vegan. Still waiting for vegan cakes...
We visited Food Gallery for lunch. As the cafe was on Happy Cow we expected a greater number of vegan options. The cafe had only one vegan option (humus salad with red pepper). Although the quality was good, for vegans the cafe had very limited choice.
We stumbled upon this place when we were doing some sightseeing in the Marlborough area. Very small cafe but with a good selection of veggie sandwiches, paninis and pastries. We tried our first Vegetarian Scottish Egg (which is breaded/seasoned whole hard boiled egg) and a couple of paninis and coffees. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. We also had a cake which was really good.
My second visit to a visit in the city with parrys international. what a great place, the best quality coffee and excellent service. had a brownie who just melted in the mouth and greeted with sir! highly recommended
