Expect a pub, we found instead a nice room, or rather a room. the bar area, a window seat and a large, brighter space under a roof window perfect for a larger assembly. all tastefully and beautifully decorated. look at the amazing 150-year-old olive tree. wow! the licensees simon and marianne have created a welcoming, friendly environment and offer an exciting and mouthwatering delicious selection of tapas style food from 21 countries. we had 7 generous, for tapas, courts and will have more. was particularly impressive, the ability to provide all tastes, allergies and nutritional needs. excellent and highly recommended.
We also booked a room for the night. the room was very refurbished the bed was comfortable. the shower was tiny and there was a lot of pubic noise without secondary glazing. the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious, but we did not get our drinks through the food halfway. a couple of folds have to iron out for 5 stars.
Fabulous hotel. quirky and original. friendly service. good food. I loved our stay.
Great pub with very friendly service delicious, inventive and well priced selection of tapas dishes from around the med; the Palestinian aubergine and pomegranate stew was top work for a fiver. Great view of the Cotswolds from the beer garden is a bonus.
