A great spread of savoury and sweet: sandwiches, quiche, cakes, scones, tea and plenty more in a superb Christmas setting. This is a not to be missed treat in one of the loveliest villages in the whole country.
Many thanks, Anna, for organising a wonderful afternoon tea for a family gathering to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The food was delicious and plentiful, beautifully presented, and the room beautifully decorated. Anna even sent us details of walks, as we wanted to have a walk first to work up an appetite! Altogether a lovely occasion!
I went with a party of 11 and we were treated to a superb high tea in a wonderful setting I could not recommend it highly enough.
Found it by chance and had a very big and good cup of coffee (they offer soy and almond milk) and a delicious carrot cake. But wasn't labelled,so you have to ask for their vegan cakes. It was also the only vegan ones they've had.. they also have seats outside
So pleased to find this little cafe in the old stables in the centre of castle Combe after a long chilly woodland walk, so friendly staff and huge hot choc with oat milk by a roaring log burner. Essential part of village life, will be returning asap
