I'll be back.
The smoking dog is a super friendly and cozy pub . the personal is really friendly and courteous and the eating is excellent. the meat and cheese plate was epic. the pub feels like a social center for malmesbury, you can really feel the community spirit when you are here. Great place and will come back 100%.
Go through, dog friendly. 1. Choice of the food from menu. beautiful atmosphere, cozy. tasting, good meal portion size. well delivered. good choice of beer. I hope that they will visit the 'friendly' service that previous reviewers mention on another.
Beautiful pub, great food and beer and very friendly staff
Stopped in the Smoking Dog Malmesbury to watch the Calcutta Cup. Enjoyed the ambience. The Prices sadly England lost, well done Scotland. The fish and chips I had were great, however my wife found the tagliatelle with roasted cauliflower, Broccoli and parmasan was not as expected. They deducted the whole cost of the plate from our bill... wonderful service, would return next time in area. Check it out. We'll worth the cost of a pint!
