The service here was great, and the waiters and waitresses certainly made the overall experience a memorable one. As we paid, the entertainment card we
I had visitors from interstate and wanted to treat them to something special. Flutes certainly did not disappoint from walking down the path with the beautiful scented violet plants, wine tasting at Brookland Valley prior to our meal, the panoramic lake, and the delightful restaurant. One of my guests had food special need requirements which I emailed to the chef a week before and he was very obliging.. The staff were attentive and wonderful the food delicious and we all hope to return soon
Beautiful location on the lake with panoramic views. Secluded and quiet position in the bush. The table service was prompt, polite and knowledgeable of product and source. The dishes were ample with a French touch which made them rich and interesting. The only negative was the wild goat, which, while the taste was great, the tenderness was lacking. Beautiful presentation, great flavour and worth the drive. Good drinks list and lovely deserts. Recommended!
Flutes Restaurant was part of a vision to create a complex including a high quality vineyard, restaurant and tourist accommodation. The restaurant, situated on the edge of a lake feeding off the Willyabrup Brook is surrounded by well kept gardens and a vineyard producing premium quality wine grapes. The beauty of the venue adds to the guests enjoyment of the excellent food and wine offered by the restaurant. The menu, although listing a small range of dishes features fresh produce from WA including seafood (superb whiting from Shark Bay), goat and venison. The dishes are uncomplicated which allowed the natural flavours to be highlighted. The wine list features the Brookland Valley brand with the top of the range Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon being great examples of the high quality produced in the Margaret River region. The service in the well designed, open dining room was similarly of a high standard. The complex also provides a well stocked gift shop and art gallery.
