I'll give it two stars. it comes with a warning! I ordered enchiladas because I have read the menu and because the local time has voted it year for year for the best enchiladas or Tex sex from the natives. Nowhere on the menu said they were soggy, covered with wobble and tomato with baked white cheese hard on the top. it said Ranchera sauce and white queen. I returned the meal for fajitas (steak) again they were served with grilled/cooked tomatoes after I said, please don't cook them. pico is usually served cold and refreshing. but fajitas were excellent! until I have accused the bill for both! if I were charged for both, I would have kept the meat that bore and the rice for my fajitas from this teller. no warning! when I went to pay my bill, the waitress dug into the bathroom so she didn't have to see when I was surprised with a bill for both meals! really? answer: “Yes! I'm sorry! I have paid and gone! will not return. when they go, make sure they like what they ordered and get what the menu said because I don't get what the menu said was on them.
Enjoy Durango’s often and they have really become a staple of Wimberley.1. The tortillas and beans are absolutely delicious and homemade.2. My favorite is bean and cheese on corn add fresh sweet onions. Money saver and very filling.3. The enchiladas, rice beans plate is another favorite…the enchilada sauce is so yummy!.4. Knowing that this small family run business has had to close multiple times due to multiple issues out of their control (Covid) I hope everyone that lioves TexMex will support this little gem in Wimberley.
The HOT hot sauce is legit, the food is solid and the service is good
Good breakfast choices. I had migas. Kitchen was busy and not their best effort today. Always love their flavorful beans though.
