A quaint pub with excellent views of the surrounding gardens. The staff are lovely and the food is very affordable. My schnitzel came out piping hot and was cooked perfectly. My friend asked for something that was not on the menu and the kitchen gave her what she wanted (nearing the close of kitchen hours too). Their customer service is exceptional. Definitely check out the Barwon Hotel next time you pass through Winchelsea.

Finally, a pretty bad performance for the standard pig fees. winchelsea is a beautiful city in a great location on the river barwon and we thought it would be a good place to visit and to eat at lunchtime. a really nice city, but the pub really...read more
