Describing the chicken as pecan encrusted was generous. Every item was under seasoned and bland with the exception of the asparagus. The drinks were fine. As advertised. Nothing to complain about but nothing to praise. The staff was attentive but seemed like they had seen better days before having their souls sucked out by the food industry. Overall a disappointing affair. Overrated and overpriced for the quality we experienced.
We've celebrated our wedding anniversary at Village Square off and on for nearly thirty years. The food and service has always been first class, in quality, flavor, presentation, but the ambience has, well, changed I'd say. It has gradually morphed from formal to a contemporary casual. But so has our culture. In the final analysis, the present experience is still great, and the change won't keep me away.
This was our third time visiting Village Square in Winchester. It's the best restaurant in the area hands down and Jeffery was excellent each time so ask for him specifically. I highly recommend this spot
Village square is a great place to dine. Whether you are entertaining out of town guests or just having a date night, you can't go wrong. The food is always wonderful and the wait staff is superb. Chef Dan is always serving up new and innovative dishes for his patrons to enjoy. Whether you go and enjoy happy hour (you must try the chicken wings as they are awesome! or order from the menu, you will not be dissapointed. Check out their facebook page for upcoming events.
I believe for the cost of food your gonna pay for at most restaurants these days, this place is by far worthy of giving a chance for the quality of food your getting and as far as the price is concerned it's not unreasonable.
