The crust makes the pie!. Yo Morgan, you 're absolutely right, a great pie for this area and I travel many miles for it .Have also had the SHRIMP OREGANATA, wonderful and the owner was willing to tell me how to make it!He went on to tell me that he roasts meats in house, turkey, beef, ham.Had the BAKED ZITI W/ MEATBALLS, moist, tasty balls, zesty sauce but it wasn 't ziti, it was rigatoni BUT I think the 'ribs ' in the pasta worked better so the sauce clinged well or is that clung? Think it was made fresh to order as it didn 't seem to be a reheated 'chunk ' from who knows when. Maybe when they get a foothold, they 'll expand to an Italian Deli, speciality shop, wouldn 't that be wonderful?!?!? Spread the word to keep them going.
NIK Neighborhood Italian Kitchen. The owner is gracious and very proud of his pizza. He should be. it was the best pizza I have had in twenty years. The cannoli was fresh and crisp. I think that King's should be very afraid because this place blows them out of the water. This is our new favorite destination.
The food is excellent and the portions are large, my wife and I each have enough left over for another meal. The food looks so good that we forgot that the waiter hadn't brought us bread until we were halfway through the meal but he promptly bought us a small portion.
My new #1 spot for Italian style food. The food was perfect, the restaurant was cozy, and the staff members were like family!
