I can't remember what it was called but it was really good, had tons of butter and flavor, came with a huge basket of garlic bread, and a big salad. You definitely get your money with here! If you are looking for the best bang for your buck, this is it. You'll be full!
Not a good first impression. We just moved to the area and have been trying all of the local pizza places. This was no good... I called in a pickup and remember to always get the total (rookie mistake). Because when I arrived I was surprised to find out that I was charged $2 for extra pizza sauce and $2 for extra BBQ sauce for the wings. I have never been charged for extra sauce before and $4 at that?! That only scratches the surface... Overall, the pizza was just subpar. I seriously would have preferred nearly anything. The extra pizza sauce was just tossed on top...didn't even looked like it was incorporated until after coming out of the oven. The wings were somewhat redeeming but with a $2 sauce premium it is hard to justify. We shall not be going back.
This place was just okay. I had salads and they were nothing special but eatable. The service was on the grumpy side too. Maybe an off moment. My son hated his lasagne too. Sauce tasted like it was from a jar. Get better sauce and tell your service to smile.
Small Italian Pizza place that also serves a full Italian menu. Located off the beaten path in Winchester this place is a hidden gem. Pizza Amore serves a full menu of Italian favorites , pastas, pizzas, salads and hoagies. The dishes are homemade and fresh. The hoagies are stuffed full and delicious. I also tried the spaghetti and meatballs. It was very good and the meatballs large and flavorful. They also serve up dinners with hot fresh garlic bread. The menu has lots of variety so something for everyone. The decor is very plain , like a small pizza shop with wood tables that have wax dripped candles, very casual. They also offer beer and wine. And yes they have table service. The service was good. They also offer dessert, sometimes something fresh made that is not even on the menu. However, The were issues with the pricing when the bill arrived, prices different than what is posted on the menu. One thing they could do better is correct that and make clear what the prices are on the menu. They did correct the bill only after having to have the manager come to the table.
They have great food at a reasonable price. I love their bread sticks with cheese, Philly cheese steak, spaghetti, and pizza. They seem to have a hard time keeping experienced wait staff, probably because of the small restaurant they're at now. It's a shame, because I believe they had to move from their old location due to a crummy landlord. It's still a good restaurant though and I highly recommend it.
