Excellent food friendly service! I had the salmon (asked for it without the chili rub because I don?t like spicy), grilled asparagus, delicious homemade potato salad sweet tea. My husband had the cheeseburger, potato salad a couple of beers. Food was cooked on a sea salt slab which I had never heard of before, but food was excellent. The owner explained that the beefis local as well as any produce the can get locally. I thought the prices were very reasonable. We ate on the deck overlookingthe river quite relaxing enjoyable. There was live music playing (Wed evening), and we were told they also have on Fridays Sundays. Check out the bathroom , it?s practically a sea salt cave! The owner can tell you how that came about. Verycreative. I also asked her many questions about recovering from the flood in spring of 2021. Fascinating. We were camping atBoonesborough State Park and were happy to find this place so close!

Great stop in the area! Owner chatted me up and explained the place as well as how they use a salt block to cook some of their food. Wasn 't disappointed! The chili was great, and the burger came out hot, fresh and quick and the taste...EXCELLENT!Cooking it on the salt gave a fabulous taste! They have a huge deck in the back, and plenty of space to dine. Check out the funbathrooms on your way out. Easily accessible for handicap needs as well. Go and enjoy!

A relaxed place along the Kentucky River to have a salt block grilled sandwich and a beer, wine, or mixed drink. Plus, live bands on two weekends per month.

Quite good burgers. Onion rings and fries were good as well. Side salad was better than expected. Good atmosphere and views of the river.

Mini plates for high prices on plastic plate wear, no less. $12 each? Not a classy but casual place. Disappointing food. Atmosphere by river is very pleasant but don't go for the frozen reheat food in styrofoam or the saltiness crackers for apps. Eat at home first. Come for the music.
