Contribuisci feedbackThat was my favorite place for lunch. Their salads change every month and are vegan and usually gluten-free. They have vegan sweet things that are usually gluten-free as well. The staff is always ready to help with questions about intolerances, but they have received means with portion sizes and amount of salad dressing. It's such a shame that it used to be amazing, I'm gone now, from the previous review updated on 2022-02-09
This is one of my favorite places when I'm in Winchester. The café has a real sustainability focus and has doubled over the years as a bicycle repair café and now as an eco-zero waste shop. The staff is friendly, lots of vegan options and the ingredients are produced locally. Would always recommend.
Very friendly staff and a wide range of vegan and vegetarian options as well as gluten-free options. I had the ratatouille and I also tasted the excellent salads and frit. Very delicious. I bought a vegan muffin to take home and it was great.
I often went from this place and was always too confused to walk in, but I finally decided to review it yesterday and I am glad I did. They had a delicious selection of pastries (some vegan) for breakfast, but I ended up for one of their lovely Porridge options. On the menu it says that all their veranda is made with almond milk, but I am (very sad) allergic to almonds and my server said it would not be a problem to make it with coconut milk instead. It was beautifully presented and was a delightful combination of pecans, pumpkin seeds and homemade fruits. I also had a coconut milk late, which was the best coffee I had at the age. I had a small browse through her sustainable life department and got some cute reusable sandwich bags. They also had a production table, so they have a lot to offer! I'm still not sure what's going on with the connected bike shop. It seems a kind of community focused non-profit that offers affordable repairs, lessons and second hand bikes for sale? I don't know if it was a bicycle shop first and they decided to have a café on it for extra income or what. It's in the same room, but the café is somehow separated from it by the seating area, so it's just kind of in the background doing its own thing. At the entrance there was a hand atomizer station, and hand atomizers on all tables that were well spaced, so I felt comfortable enough to eat inside with social distance.
