Nevertheless we got a table in the new barn without a reservation and had a lovely meal. This pub has invested a lot since new ownership and you can actually get served when busy and the food is great. The beer brewed on site is great.
Really disappointed, after eating here before and promoting this pub to many people, it's like unbelievable waited forever, and I am the most patient person but after nearly 2 hours the food came out and my steak was inedible, very disappointed, even though they didn't charge for the five mains it didn't change the fact I was very hungry so had to go to another local pub to eat which was Very nice, its such a shame as we all want are local pubs to be successful, on the plus side the beer was very nice, conclusion total balls up, but will try again in a few month's.
The Flower Pots provides a warm welcome with excellent real ale, attractively priced food and a real pub environment with log fires and locals!
Very disappointing. Need to review their booking policy. Tried to book two weeks in advance for my birthday meal with my family Both The website and staff said the reserved tables were booked but they always kept tables spare so there'd be no problem. Turned up on the day with my two small kids and elderly mother for my birthday meal to be turned away as already full and all tables were taken. Extremely disappointing. If they had said they were fully booked I would've booked elsewhere and not been so let down.
Another wonderful visit to “The Flower Pots” …tasty inexpensive home brewed beer, delicious quality food…with a very enthusiastic caring Team lead very well by Simon the landlord, who was flexible and generous in his approach to my Birthday family lunch. Thanks “Flower Pot” Team for doing what you do so well, that we want to return to experience it again and again!
