Ordered an £8 meal via mcdelivery. Was missing the burger. Called uber eats to resolve and they gave me a £2 refund and said there is nothing else they can do and recommended I physically visited the store. Orders from this store are missing items more often than not but this customer service response was truly horrendous.
We were disappointed to find that part of our order was missing, specifically a 20-piece nugget share box. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that our McDelivery orders have been inaccurate, with items missing more often than not. It's unclear whether the issue lies with McDonald's or Uber, but the consistently incorrect orders have become frustrating. Paying a £3.99 delivery charge for incomplete orders is starting to feel like a waste. After spending over 20 minutes on the phone with Uber trying to get a refund, the rest of our food had gone cold and my son ended up eating his meal alone.
I simply had to try chips with curry dip, sweet and sour dip and ranch dip, all at the same time. I did and it was sensational, I was in food heaven. I was so excited the manager came over to make sure all was well and I said that I have just had tfd best meal of my life.
It took an hour to receive our food on a busy Saturday, but to be fair, the restaurant was packed and the staff were working as quickly as they could. It seems like senior management should consider ways to improve kitchen efficiency and possibly hire more staff.
