Hog's Breath Cafe - Windermere

Went here for dinner, being the first hogs breath that ever opened and what a horrible experience it was.Where do I start. Outdated. No air conditioning so was absolutely disgusting in there with the humidity. No beers on tap. Soft drink was flat. Ran out of Grant Burge wine. We're slowly running out of ice. Ran out of eye fillet steaks. And couldn't have any of the slow cooked 18hr steaks. And to not even be told about that until we ordered was ridiculous.Drinks took forever to come to our table after ordering them. The customer service wasn't the greatest but Chris was great his customer service was superb.Overall not the greatest hogs breath experience. Would I recommend this...no

Although it's not the cheapest place in town to eat, the food is always really tasty and there's plenty of it. Grab a seat down the back and you will have a fabulous view overlooking the lagoon and the sea beyond.The staff were really friendly which made us feel it was worth the few extra dollars

Coke in the drinks was flat, out of prime rib. Can't do mashed potatoes as they are out also but can do baked potato. Meals came out completely wrong so we got up and left.

Nice friendly staff, good place to eat, good value. Table spaces are for the skinny....lol... good menu choices

We arrived at Airlie Beach in the late afternoon after a long, hot, stressful drive. We had seen the billboard for HB on the way in and were excited as we haven't been to a HB for ages! The maitre de was so lovely and instantly understood that we just needed a seat and some water and a waitress. All delivered within about 3 minutes. Our waitress, maddi, was cute as a button and so sweet with a bag full of patience. Our meals and drinks came out super quick and were all to the high standard of a Hogs Breath. We were so impressed with the food and service that we came again for lunch the next day. Our server was Chris and he was also a sweetheart. The poor buggars were having such a tough day with the curly frier behaving like it was being uninvented and the hot dog buns running out. Each crisis was faced and sailed through by this amazing team. They stayed positive and upbeat and helpful even in that super stressful situation. Thank you so much guys! Your hard work is not unnoticed and we very much appreciate your efforts! Thank you (from the family of 3 with the young boy who came in when your curly frier was needing a valium and a lie down).
