Margarita's Ville - Windom

Just had lunch here. The #4 lunch special was good. It was filling and tasty. My daughter had a veggie burrito and it was a huge portion. I'd like to come back the next time we're in town.

I've visited this restaurant several times, hoping each visit would be better than the last, but I've consistently been disappointed. I always order the same dish, but it's prepared differently every time. On my last visit, my meal included rice and beans, while this time I had to pay extra for the rice. We ended up spending over $30 for two meals and two sodas. When we expressed our concerns to our waitress and the person who seated us, they didn’t offer to resolve the issues or adjust our bill at all. One time, I ordered Beef Nachos and they arrived without any cheese. I'm really sorry to say that this place suffers from poor service and inconsistent food quality.

I don't understand the negative comments from some other reviews. Our experience was fantastic! Travis was an outstanding server, and our food arrived quickly, hot, delicious, and quite authentic. My sope was exceptional, and I would gladly return to try more from the menu. Plus, they have a great selection of tasty Mexican beers! I would recommend this place to anyone, whether you're from Windom or not!

The service was slow and unsatisfactory. We waited nearly an hour for our food, and the silverware was dirty. Additionally, there was a mix-up with one of our orders, and the food itself was quite bland. This was our second visit (hoping to give them a second chance), but nothing has improved, so we won't be returning.

The food is quite good, but the service is terrible. I've visited multiple times since Windom doesn't have many options, and nearly every visit has had issues with seating or service. I often find myself standing around waiting to be acknowledged, or seated only to wait 20 minutes just to place a drink order. They tend to turn people away during busy times instead of taking names and allowing guests to wait in line. It’s more enjoyable in the summer with a variety of margaritas and a nice outdoor patio, but I wouldn’t recommend going when it's crowded.
