El Gallo Negro - Windsor

After 18 years of enjoying the good food and service we have been officially priced out. We will miss you all, but just can't feed a family of 5 there anymore even after 2 of our kids shared off of us (so only 3 meals bought). Such a bummer but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Wonderful patio with music. Drinks are a bit overpriced and food is above average but nothing extrodinary. I think the kids meal was Costco nuggets. It would be eay to make this a 5 star place, but I think they are maximizing margin.

Everything and everyone was friendly and always made us comfortable. Nine of us were happy as a clam. We will be back for sure. Thank you for being charming!!

Great food and cocktails. Even the lemonades came well presented and fancy. I loved the barbacoa and the Basil mint lemonade. Chips and salsa were perfect too.

Food is good, the service is okay sometimes and better other times, it depends on who you get. We usually come in large groups.
