Contribuisci feedbackWe stopped in the other night with our family for some pizza and appetizers. It was wonderful. We ate the Bosco cheese filled breadsticks for an appetizer. We tried a few of their pizzas as our dinner. The waitress was nice enough to allow us to do half and half so we can try more kinds being it was our first visit to thier resturant. We tried the Pepino on half and theTrapino on the other half. This was hand tossed crust. My favorite) Then on another pizza we did bbq on half and the other half brueschetta which was my wife's favorite pizza. This was thinking crust. Both crust good and cooked perfect. They offer beers or wine with dinner if you would like. We thought the service was very friendly. The resturant was smaller, but very cozy and comfortable for a small town Italian place. Not a long wait for food. The waitress brought our daughter a small ball of pizza dough to keep her entertained, which we thought was clever and a fun idea for kids. Got a chance to meet the owner Joe) as we were leaving. Seemed like a nice young man. This is one of those places you need to try if in the area or order out if you live close because they deliver. Very nice food for the small town of Windsor. We will be back to try the pasta and lasagna. Then once we try the pasta maybe we will change review to 5 star if it is as good as the pizza was.
I recently visited a charming Italian restaurant in Windsor and had a great experience. They provided the kids with pizza dough to play with, which I thought was a fantastic idea. For starters, we had toasted ravioli and Bosco sticks—delicious cheese-filled breadsticks. I ordered my usual chicken parmesan, which was excellent, while my husband enjoyed penne carbonara and loved it. Our oldest chose Hawaiian pizza, the younger son, who is quite picky, opted for a cheeseburger, and the youngest had the kids’ chicken fettuccine alfredo. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, and the portions were large enough that we all took home leftovers. The service was quick and friendly, and at $80 for five people, the price was reasonable. The only downside was the extra charge for using a credit card.
This restaurant is fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding. Whenever I visit, I always order the spaghetti and meatballs—it's absolutely delicious! This place should definitely consider opening a location in Madison; I know it would be a hit there too!
I want to enjoy this restaurant, but I just can't. It's small, charming, and locally owned, yet even that can't redeem their lackluster pizza. I've sampled several items from their menu, but none have left me wanting more. Their hand-tossed crust is almost inedible—dry and tough. We've also faced multiple problems with receiving incorrect items when ordering for delivery and takeout, so it's essential to double-check your orders. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
Inconsistent quality and service. Half the time they don 't answer the phone. When you order through the app it only gets to them occasionally. We ordered cheesy garlic bread which we had before and was good. Ordered again and it is a sandwich roll cut in half. Soggy, flavorless and cheese on maybe a 1/3. Charge 2.25 for marinara totally $7 for the cheesy garlic bread . We have given many chances. Not worth the money.
