The Windsor Diner

Great pastrami sandwich, excellent not-too-sweet smoothie, courteous courier. Only thing I'd change is to add the option of rye bread to the menu for deli sandwiches (white or wheat bread don't really go with pastrami). Other than that, five stars plus!

The family were about halfway through our 5+ hour drive north, in desperate need of refueling (literally and figuratively . Citgo took care of the car, Yelp helped with the food.There weren 't many options and the best reviewed was the Windsor Diner.(Yes, consisting of just one review... where that family was adventurous enough to try the lasagna which is so amusing to me. And not the last time we 'd encounter a Yelp review in this part of the world where people actually order the lasagna from places no one in their right mind would! Coming from NJ (diner capital of the country where even my little hometown used to have 3 diners itself... maybe it isn 't fair to judge a diner in God 's country the same way we do in Jersey.This place is small. It 's decrepit (from the carpeting to the bathroom .There 's a really strong odor (maybe old/burnt oil from the fryer? wafting through the place the whole time we were there.But it 's really busy... people coming and going constantly which we take as a good sign.Waitress awesome. We 're getting a good vibe from this place now.The Mrs. really enjoyed her dish.Younger twin he dug his dish.Older twin half and half, he dug the sandwich but not the side of (clumpy and congealed mac and cheese.Myself after joking with the rest of my family about someone ordering the lasagna and garlic bread what do I do? I bravely order their haddock special. It wasn 't bad but it definitely wasn 't good . The (bland filet was hacked up (either the cook was angry or this was the only way for them to 'know ' the fish was cooked through/properly? and the mashed potatoes were very basic (boring . Pricing was honestly great. (Jersey Diner size portions and no dish was over $14 ish.Not sure we 'd come back but it definitely served its purpose.

Food was hot and delicious! Burgers were juicy and flavorful. Fries were hot and crispy

Hot open turkey was so gamey. Tasted bad and thrown out. Hot open roast beef so rough and both were bland. Only decent dinner was the French toast. 70 dollars in food in the garbage. So disappointed

Great food, great service! Love breakfast here! Very reasonable prices!
