Excellent food! Great service, very quick. The noodles very especially great and great portions sizes. The tofu was very well seasoned and well cooked
I dined at Himalayan Restaurant (Nepali&Indian Cuisine) along with my two friends yesterday. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. We were welcomed by the papad absolutely thin and crunchy with three different chutneys. We ordered Tandoori Chicken, Matar Paneer, Goat Curry and fried spinach with Naan and some brown rice. They were so nice and left us finger licking at the end. The tandoori chicken was so soft, juicy with flavor of different spices! The warm ambiance, attentive service, and of course, the incredible flavors of the food made it a memorable meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving delicious and unique cuisine. A definite must-visit for food lovers!
Himalayan Restaurant is just great. We love real Indian food and the chef serves that. It is just perfect. They only use fresh herbs and spices that are used in traditional Indian food. They even got an award for Best Indian Restaurant of Sonoma County by the Press Democrat. They specialize in kabobs, tandoors and curries. They also have the best soups. Many of their items are vegetarian, vegan or gluten free. I don't care but I know a lot of people do. The place is ever so cute and very clean. You feel at home and that is what they want for you. The service is so very wonderful and they will help you with the menu. We had curry dishes that were out of this world good and two order of garlic nann. I should have taken some with me. The tandoori chicken breast cooked in spices with the best mild creamy sauce was a real favorite. Their organic tofu tikki, which are fried tofu garbanzo patties crumbed with beaten rice was amazing. I did not expect to like it at all, tofu is just not my favorite thing, but it was so good. We can't wait to get back there.
Best Indian food I've had in Sonoma county. The service was also top notch. We were not used to staff being so attentive and nice. I also appreciated the comfortable booths and neat decor.
