King Fish - Windsor and Maidenhead

I visited this Fish and Chip takeaway in 2020 and was disappointed by the poor quality of the food. Despite my previous experience, I decided to give it another try today. However, I should have turned back when I saw that there were only two pieces of pre-cooked haddock available. We opted for just one portion, along with a large portion of chips that were clearly old and cold, making them inedible. The total cost was £13.40, and they only accepted cash payments. To top it off, the staff did not even smile at the customers. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and a waste of money. This night off from cooking turned into a regrettable decision.

I ordered two scampi and chips, but what I received was definitely not scampi. I'm not sure what it was, maybe heavily battered shrimp pieces, but it was not what I expected. I felt like I was completely cheated out of £24.20. I advise customers to check their order before leaving this fish and chip shop.

I typically order fish and chips from this restaurant and it always tastes good. Tonight, I decided to try a shish kebab. Unfortunately, the meat was overly salty. I ordered through Uber Eats for delivery, and while tracking the driver on the map, I noticed they made a detour to a different address before delivering to me, even though I am just around the corner. By the time the food arrived, it was cold and I ended up not finishing it. Uber Eats's delivery service was disappointing in this instance.

Visited a couple of weeks ago for lunchtime food for the family. We saw you on Uber Eats and thought yes we can have some food as we did a couple of weeks ago. Sadly to say the food was cold and none of it had a taste. Not sure if it was a bad day or Uber Eats let you down. I am still waiting for a refund via Uber Eats.

I asked for fish bite and chips and once again seems like this man always gives us the chips from the bottom of the fryer.
