Service is pathetic and I waited an hour for a main of simple stir fry and rice which didn't show up despite me being reassured it was on its way. I got up and walked out never to return.
Wonderful buffet lunch today, first visit and would highly recommend. Large choice of food and desserts. Would definitely go again. Very busy.
I have enjoyed eating here quite a few times over the years but was shocked by my latest visit. The food was terrible and we left most of it. The fish cakes were like rubber coated in grease, the rice seemed to have been burnt (in a microwave ? and if the noodles were once fresh then it sadly wasn’t on the same day we ordered them. Extremely disappointing, I don’t know whether the chef has retired but the food was inedible, I won’t be heading back.
Very expensive for what it is. We opted for the a la carte menu in the evening. starters came out in one big dish (there was 8 of us dining, and amongst us some vegetarian). They had put all the meat and veg together in one big serving plate rather than bring each dish out separately. waitresses were miserable, no smile and it was evident they were making comments about our table between them. overall mediocre food i have to say. Very expensive for what it is. Probably only worth going for the buffet where service doesn’t matter.
Our first time, having heard about the restaurant from neighbours, and we weren't disappointed! Lovely food, best ever prawn crackers and everything tasted freshly cooked and authentic. Highly recommend.
