After the round of golf stop by the restaurant for a bite to eat and a cocktail. Food is typical roadhouse food that is prepared very well and hits the spot with your favourite cocktail. Service staff provide excellent service, Always a great experience!
I met a friend for lunch at the Dominion Golf Club and was underwhelmed by the Greek salad. It was just okay. This isn't a restaurant I would specifically seek out for a meal. It seems more suited for golfers looking for food and drinks.
My family has dined at this restaurant several times on Fridays. The wait staff is fantastic, particularly the female servers. I am not a fan of the significant increase in prices on the new menu, but I have never had a bad meal here. They offer three specials every Friday, and their fried fish is exceptional.
I am still trying to understand why our group encountered the same ranger on every single hole. While preparing to tee off on one hole, the ranger even reversed the cart so we could hear the cart horn. On the other side of the tee box, a groundskeeper was yelling instructions into a cellphone. We also witnessed someone pouring lots of water onto the green as we were about to putt, in an effort to protect the grass. Putting on both extremely dry and extremely wet surfaces in the same round was quite a unique experience. Overall, it was a bit of a circus.
The golf course is being improved frequently, and is very nice and in good condition. The restaurant part is very good, with excellent soups, salads, perch and much more.
