Contribuisci feedbackMy 2-star rating is just because the place was clean. what the Halibut fish and chips, where they do not even eat. 3 of us had lunch, not one of us ate our meal. 2 the fish from the broken dough, and the fries had a spicy on them; not something that goes with fish and chips. the food was not properly cooked - the oil must not have been hot enough because everything was fat and difficult to taste. we will not be back
This place is consistently great. We always get the junior halibut pack and the price is very fair for what you get. The pieces of fish are substantial. Small request: Add salt as an option for the fries. We’re not a huge fan of the seasoning. That’s a small nitpick because this place is great overall.
Fish was excellent portion size. Great taste.I personally would prefer a chunkier chip with no skin but outside of that I have no issues and found the fish comparable to stuff back in the UK.

I was excited to try this place and I wish my experience was like the five star reviews, however I do agree with the less than three star reviews. I ordered the seafood platter with onion rings. The batter is bland and didn’t seem to be fully cooked. There was probably more batter than there was seafood. The calamari was the only thing not cooked in the same batter, which was unpleasantly spicy. They give sweet chili Thai sauce which I love normally, but I don’t think it should go with “authentic” fish and chips, and the tartar sauce is not house-made, as the owner claimed two weeks ago. The tartar sauce has “Don Mills, ON” right on the packaging. I wish I had a better experience, but perhaps the experience I had was a fluke. I am willing to give this place another chance but perhaps I’ll order something different next time.
