The service was excellent, but the food didn't quite match up. It wasn't bad, but it lacked flavor.

This restaurant used to be the finest in town, but now it's sadly the worst. I've heard that it’s under new ownership, which might account for the significant drop in quality. The food is excessively greasy and overcooked, and I suspect their oil is spoiled. The current quality of the food is even below what you'd find at a mall food court. If you're thinking about ordering from here, do yourself a favor and eat from a dumpster instead—you’ll have a better meal that way.

The Pomegranate was the first Chinese restaurant I ever visited, and the food remains just as delicious and high-quality as it did back then.
