Southside Bar & Grill - Windsor

We ate here mainly because it was attached to the Stonecroft Inn. Excellent choice, food was great, large portions, price very reasonable. Staff very friendly. Recommend you eat here.

Friends and I were in the area looking for dinner and we decided to try this place. It was clean inside but a bit dark. We ordered and waited some time till our food came. This is when we found out the waitress forgot to put in our apps order. Lol. We had mixed reviews about our dinner. My one friend said his burrito was so so. His wife had the ribs but wasn't impressed. I had the wings and the were good and the sauce even better. Overall though just an average experience. It would take some convincing to come dine here again.

I stayed in the hotel and grabbed dinner here one evening. I had their wings and they were amazing. Nice sized wings and the sauce was just right. Place was clean, quaint, service was very attentive. Would go back.

Tried the all you can eat all you can eat chicken wings with a friend. We had a large group of 8 couples and we expected slow service. But not terrible no service. The wings arrived they were oversized pigeon wings. They were so small. My friend and I decided we wanted order some more. We were informed we could not order more until we were finished our original order and the plate was clean. The server had attitude right from the beginning when we arrived. So we called her back when plate was clean to order more wings. After a long wait we got our second order. No smile until time to pay the bill then when tip time was upon us she changed her tune. Sad that she thinks that way. We were not impressed. My wife had a regular burger. it was ok. Another problem was food came out in dribs and drabs not in the ordered it was taken. It was a very disappointing experience and several of us said we were not likely to return .

Worse New York Strip I've ever had in a restaraunt. My children took me here for my birthday March 1, 2017 and three of us ordered the 10 oz. New York steak. My son's girlfriend literally left 3/4 of her steak as it was tough and veiny(fat) throughout the entire steak. I left half of mine as it was the same and my son the same. Our waitress was very unattentive to us, we had to ask for water refills. Ordered the 2 for 1 wings, thank God we ordered them as an appetizer for all of us as the wings were so small it could never fill a man if he ordered it as a dinner portion. Will never return here again.
