Somsri Thai Cuisine - Winfield

The food is fresh, not overly sauced. The Thom Kha is really good with a generous portions of veggies and tofu (or protein of choice). Their dishes are on the blander side with limited integration of flavors; I would prefer spicier with some of the dishes. The staff are super friendly with a great tone and attitude. I gave a 4 rating because the food is incredibly fresh and the staff are great.

My absolute favorite Thai restaurant. They have my favorite dish, pad lard nar (highly recommend ordering it with beef, although I've read that pork is traditional). Their egg rolls and money bags are also awesome! Consistent, delicious food that always satisfies.

I don't write many reviews, but this place definitely deserves so much recognition! SO delicious, consistent, and high-quality. Everything is so FRESH, I come here quite often. Staff is so kind, and the food never disappoints.

This is hands DOWN the most authentic Thai cuisine in the western suburbs by far!! The family that runs it is so sweet and generous, and the portions are absolutely huge! I would expect the food that we have here to be very similar to the kind that is actually eating in Thailand! The spices are incredible. The presentation is beautiful and the food is very different than most of the Thai food I’ve had in the US!!
