However, we were a bit disappointed with our meals. We ordered the Stuffed Yorkie Bowl, but it fell short of our expectations; there was a sparse amount of mashed potatoes, the beef was tough, and there wasn't enough gravy. One of our friends enjoyed their well-cooked fries, while another's were unfortunately undercooked. They did enjoy their chicken fingers and fish & chips. On a positive note, I found the Black Donnelly's Lager to be quite good and would definitely recommend it. Overall, we would consider returning, but we might choose different dishes next time—I should have opted for the 12oz hamburger.
I had lunch here and ordered the cobbler pie alongside a Caesar salad. The cobbler pie is similar to shepherd's pie but topped with melted cheddar cheese. It was really delicious, and the addition of cheese made it even better!
Consider trying the deep-fried pickles alongside your choice of burgers and a refreshing draft beer—it's the ideal pub meal for those on the go!
Visited this pub a few years ago and went back because the food was good back then. We want to say it hasn't changed and the staff and food where worth the visit the second time.
We often travel to this pub for supper. It is pub fare with a good variety. We have tried many of their selections and have always been pleased. Their French fries we find to be the best around. Their alcohol beverage selection is good as are their desserts. Service is very good and the servers are friendly and efficient. It is a pub so at times it can be quite noisy. There are tv's to watch sports.
