A more or less normal place, and more or less clean, but the cigarette smell from the casino is very annoying, sometimes I really want to puke because of the smell ..
On Thursday, October 27, 2022, around 7:30 PM, I stopped by for fuel, expecting a pleasant experience like my last visit when an older woman had treated me well. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case this time. After fueling my vehicle for nearly $800, I approached the counter. The woman behind the register, a wrinkled older blonde in a black shirt who appeared to be a manager, didn’t greet me. When I requested the fuel receipt for Pump 18, she processed it with a brusque, “ONE RECEIPT?” When I confirmed that was correct, she turned her back to me and nonchalantly hung the receipt on her long, manicured nails, reminiscent of a 1920s starlet posing with a cigarette. I found this behavior appalling, especially from someone in a leadership position at Pilot Flying J. It was disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism. I will not be returning to this store again and strongly suggest that Pilot Flying J reassess their management staff. They should ensure that their employees exhibit a more positive attitude and customer service.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant due to the extremely rude staff. They were loudly chatting with each other, acting as if no customers were present, even though I was standing right in front of them, feeling foolish. The way they spoke to me was as if I were invisible, and it felt like they were doing me a favor just by acknowledging my presence. I left feeling disgusted and my mood was ruined for the rest of the day. To the management, if you truly care about your business and your truck driver clientele, please take the time to properly train your employees or replace them with individuals who understand how to treat customers with respect. As a regular customer of Pilot and FJ across the country, I don't think I will return to this location. Please take urgent action to address this issue.
Great truck stop! Plus, it’s located in a spot featured in a scene from the movie "Joyride."
