I'm not much of a breakfast kind of person, but there's plenty of menu options for any kind of picky eater. As I recall, the red sauce is homemade and delicious. The potatoes are always cooked crisp and textured right. I took a few of my out of town friends in for our last meal together before we all headed to different places, and everyone agreed the food was worth the wait. Speaking of which, this place FILLS up, so get there early for the best setup. You can't go wrong with a meal at the Griddle.
A must-stop for the long-runner. also gluten-free pancakes. we thoroughly our meal and I was not sick! have cleaned an apricot jam to give away as a gift; they said it was fresh this morning.
The food was awesome. It was definitely busy, but after tasting the food I can understand why. The Almond French Toast was probably one of the best I have tasted compared to big chain places. The Chicken Fried Steak was delicious. The portion was a bit smaller than I was used to and definitely higher priced but I guarantee it was worth it. Packed with flavor and the homemade gravy top was good. The service was fast. We didn't wait long for our food and it was served hot. Was our first time here but not the last. I definitely recommend coming here. Support local business and have an amazing meal.
Went there for breakfast on a trip through town back in November 2021. This was one of the best breakfast places I have ever been to. It's a smaller, somewhat cramped looking diner. But once you sit down, the wait staff is very helpful and friendly. You don't really wait long for your food, even on a busy morning. Fresh squeezed orange juice, amazing French toast, potatoes, eggs. Everything was just amazing, and we will be stopping the next time we come through town for sure.
The service was excellent! We started with freshly squeezed orange juice. The eggs Benedict were ordered and were cooked perfectly. The yolks were beautifully runny and the hash browns were perfectly crispy. Although the prices may be a bit high, the atmosphere was great and very clean. It's worth noting that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and open from 6am to 2pm.
