I try the gumbo it comes with rice and brot on the side (because of my diet now I have not eaten rice or brot) but still a good size sm bowl for me. many sitting rooms and beautiful bar area as well as with great music playing in the background.
We were searching for food after our stay on the bolivar peninsula and found this gem. Highlight of the trip! Food was super duper good. Lots of people working and ready to help. Lots of seating. Started with the chips and salsa that you would think would be lame, but it was the best chips and salsa. 2.99 with a huge plate and we all got our own salsa bowls. Coming from AZ where we have some phenomenal Mexican I was impressed. We got fish tacos, and fish baskets with shrimp. We all were sharing and talking about how good it was. Finished with bread pudding and strawberry shortcake. Just go! Huge menu and you won’t be disappointed.
I love this place! I’ve eaten here a few times and the food is always delicious and the service is always accommodating!!
The blackened redfish ponchartrain is the best I’ve had better than Pappadeaux’s by far. Our server Katelynn P was very attentive and personable. Total enjoyment by our family, couldn’t have been better. ?
Katelynne P served me the Blackened Redfish! It was amazing! My mother, dad and I all agreed that it was better than Pappadeaux’s. The food was great and the service was amazing!
