Johnee's Restaurant - Winnipeg Beach

The food is good and made as ordered. The burgers are filling. The owner very nice. A nice variety on the menu.

Perfect stop for some food after spending a day at the beach especially since it's right across from it! Would have given 5/5 stars but had to wait for about 25 minutes for my order. I'm guessing summer days means busier times. Love the mom & pop feel to the place.

The staff are slow and rude, and they add their own tip to the bill without telling you. The place is a bit dirty, better to take your burger to a picnic bench outside. Just burgers and fries, nothing special,

If passing through Winnipeg Beach stopping at Johnees for a burger and fries is a must. They're an old mainstay for a reason.

I spent many summers at Winnipeg Beach at my grandparents and remembered Johnee's well. I took my own kids this past summer and it still tasted as good as it did when i was a kid. Fantastic burger with chili sauce as any Winnipegger can find and just great fresh fries. Definitely going back again this summer! The kids are making me!
