Disgracing the name of doubles, rotis, and rice dishes (using snow peas and bagged vegetables more than meat for the price). Supplied it for a party, everyone took a few bites, leaving majority of the food for the garbage. Embarrassing to present guest this food. Never in my life have I seen doubles that look like this. Usually I would eat multiple doubles, but one was disappointing enough. Roti contained mostly potato’s and 5% of it was meat. But the platter. for that price Dryed jerk chicken and dollar store plantain. Biggest scam. Water down sauces. I could go on. Usually I would be understanding and give a dish a chance, but this was unacceptable for the price and food quality. I could eat the jerk vegetable roti every single day. The chickpeas were cooked to perfection, the veggie mix was spot on, and the way it all came together was flawless. I added in a samosa and that was also incredible. Way too much food for one person, so I am grateful my husband was there ti share. I love that Bindy’s is on the quieter/calmer side of the market. Good spot for conversation and an enjoyable setting for a meal. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Samosas, Veggie
Awesome West Indian food. I love their doubles. The staff are so friendly and they make you feel like you’re at home. Also love going to the food court and people watching while listening to the buskers of the Forks! It’s so charming.
