Centro Caboto Centre - Winnipeg

I visited this restaurant for a drink before dinner. I had an alcoholic beverage, while my pregnant mother had a non-alcoholic one.

The service was average, but they were lacking in many menu and drink options. Additionally, food took over an hour to be served. Overall, it was just okay.

We waited for at least an hour for our food, as did all the other tables in the restaurant. Despite there being only about 10 tables and 4 servers working that night.

Bread, not a salad bar, just salad with very few fixings, tomato soup, pieces of chicken which were red near the bone, roasted potato wedges, and only one not very good pasta dish. Coffee extra.The whole buffet is not very good, and they should be ashamed charging that kind of money for what they call a buffet!

I recently had a gathering of about 50 people and decided that I would have it catered. I decided on Italian cuisine and started looking around for a caterer within my budget. I decided on the Caboto Center. They provided great advise on how much food to order and what to order. I even met with the chef who explained what the food was and how it is made. I ended up ordering cannalonni, manicotti and penne primavera. Because the number of guests increased I added to my order at the last minute without a problem.> The food was absolutely delicious and a number of people wanted to know where I ordered from. Not only was it delicious, the food was piping hot when delivered. I have nothing but good things to say about the service I received from the Caboto Center staff.
