Fergies Fish'n Chips - Winnipeg

This is the GO TO place for fish and chips in Winnipeg You can choose cod, pickerel, and halibut in a snack, regular or hearty size.

I've never been a huge fish n chips person, but have noticed consistently when I'm in the market that this place gets a huge draw.

One of my favorite places to get food at The Forks.

We were at the Forks last week and stopped at Fergies Fish and Chips for lunch. The friendly counter staff suggested the Single meal with and we were not disappointed. The fish and chips were incredible. The tarter sauce is homemade and very good. The chowder was full of fish, seafood, and veggies. There were about 3 groups ahead of us when we arrived. The line was long but moved very quickly considering that everything was made fresh.

There are many places to have something to eat in "The Forks" and this one is a definite WINNER-- especially if you like fish and/or chips!!!!! While many people order "Cod fish", why not try our prized Manitoba PICKERAL FISH?? It is really delectable--- especially when poached in a light fluffy batter!!You will be glad that you tried FERGIES!!!
