McDonald's - Winnipeg

This McDonald's has had many facelifts over the years, the latest is adding 2 drive-thru lanes.

I have to tell you... I know this was a long time ago, but I miss the old log cabin look that I remember from the early 90's when I made my first trip to Winnipeg. It caught my eye and I have never forgotten it. I stopped in on this visit to check out the place and grab some Chicken McNuggets. The electronic kiosks are new to me. I found it very easy to order... I was even interested in making my order like this. After I placed my order electronically and inserted my credit card, it took about a minute before they called out my number. There ya go! That easy! My stop here was fast and efficient. The drive-thru line was longer than the line inside. It's a McDonald's... you should know what you are going to order before you get here. That should be standard.

The line ups that occur because of the new kiosks is ridicules. It is no longer "fast food". I waited for 15 minutes for an order.

Go ahead and try it! Go in the morning..Place order and see if it is correct! Seems most Mc Donald's have their worst employees work during the morning hours. Never get an order wrong. Or even better...the nice cold hard cheese in your breakfast burrito...blah!
