So we decided to stay.... looked around before we found somewhere to sit and noticed that there were many empty tables so it looked promising. At about 5:45 I asked why nobody sits because there were many empty clean tables. The girl said some were reserved. No reservations on many tables. After all, they sat a few tables. People who came after us sat. I asked again and she said it would be about 20 minutes more. So we decided to go. Suddenly there was a table available! We had a great waiter! My sister has a few food restrictions and our waiter has written down everything. Didn't really make a difference. She asked for a veggie burger without Mayo, no bbq sauce, no tomatoes. Guess! It was loaded instead of waiting longer, she just scraped the stuff off. For the price you pay, they could do it right. The family sat just before us four children, age 7.5,3, and 1. When we put ourselves on the table next to them, they had already ordered and had their drinks. We ordered, received our meals and ate. We were ready to pay when they finally got their meals. I couldn't believe how good these children were! I hope they have a discount. The food was good, but the wait was inappropriate.
I dined at this restaurant on Saturday. The space was filled with numerous TVs showing sports reviews. The service was excellent and the menu offered a variety of dishes beyond just barbecue options. The atmosphere was enjoyable and fun.
We go as often as a family with our children who are 9 and 5. The service is friendly and attentive. They are aware of allergy/intolerance and try to accept me (lactose). The children love to draw on the tables (which coronations... were a bit better...they snap in 2 really easy) and it helps the time until the food comes. The menu is great. It has everything you want in a barbecue area. I love choosing my BBQ sauce. The children's menu has the child Staples and a good selection of supplements that are not only fries or salads (apple discs are a hit for us). The restaurant is mostly clean. The fresh paper provides clean tables. Each new group gets a new sheet of paper on the table. You can move it anywhere. The dilemma is that they do not always clean the table cloth underneath it. Two times my pants and hands have become quite sticky because the tablecloth under the paper BBQ sauce has on it, but it is not wiped between the tables. The food is great. We're going back.
This restaurant is one of my favorites. There are many options to choose from, which is great because I am a selective eater.
We were a group of eight (4 adults and 4 kids) at the restaurant, which was not very busy, only about one-third full. Unfortunately, our food took an hour to arrive and there were numerous mistakes with our orders. The first issue was that the meals for the two adult males arrived, but one of them was cold and had to be sent back. This made the kids, who were hungry, wait even longer. Even though all four children ordered noodles (which should have been an easy order), only one plate of cold noodles was brought out initially. The rest of the children had to pick at the cold noodles while waiting for the remaining orders. Additionally, we were told that they ran out of the side of garlic mashed potatoes after an hour and only had enough for two kids, leaving the third child without. This did not go over well with the hungry kids, especially the one who did not receive what the others got. Despite being promised a side dish, we never received it. We waited another 20 minutes as the manager said he would make things right, but even then we had to ask for missing sides and sauce. One child had to eat their meal cold. It took an hour for the kids to get drink refills, and my chicken fajitas arrived after two people at the table were already done eating. The chicken was rubbery, lacked flavor, and was only warm, not hot. To make matters worse, one alcoholic drink was never ordered or brought to the table. Frustrated, we just wanted to leave. In the end, the manager only offered a 20% discount on the bill, despite all four meals having problems. To top it off, one of my friends saw the manager roll his eyes as we were leaving. If they had communicated the issues ahead of time, we would have gone to the Earls restaurant next door instead. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
