Niko's Restaurant - Winnipeg

I agree with other reviews that it is not as good as it was earlier, but if they stick with Greek clips, it is still tasty, perhaps simply not with the same pronounced taste as in past. they have not changed. the combos (to add the salat). it is still a Greek institution and a good choice.

Niko used to be a great place, my culinary experience today was not pleasant. I'll never go back. I put a call order and was told it was 20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later and then the food ended another 30...minutes I was not even offered an apology. portions were small, my chicken sauce was brunette, the lemon roasted potatoes were muddy and had very little texture. my partner caesar salat was overwhelming, but he was satisfied with his chicken fingers and fries. So at least that was a positive retreat.

Had the ointment and it was not the biggest. the items were fresh. for the huh I ordered, I didn't care and did not care about the creamy balsamico dressing. was busy chatting to really pay attention to the menu. I would have. with the Greek articles and the souvlaki. the restaurant is small and although the server was beautiful, it seemed to be operated by itself so that the service was slow. the prices were on the high side I thought, but the shares appeared large enough to counteract the price. I would instead try traditional Greek food.

We have been eating here for over 15 years as the food is always tasty. Tonight we went to Niko's with our kids and had to wait for over an hour for our food to arrive. They blamed it on a printer error communicating with...the kitchen staff. This doesn't make sense as servers should be aware of who has been served and who is still waiting for their meal. Skip the Dishes staff were in and out about 4 times while we were waiting.Then we were almost charged for our Kids Eat Free on Tuesdays meal. Super disappointed. I think they have gone downhill in service in the last while.

It was my first time at this restaurant and it was very good. Afterwards my friend and I enjoyed the street music entertainment. We had a great time and the food was very good.
