Norvilla Hotel - Winnipeg

It wasn't busy but service was slow and it took a long time for breakfast. Breakfast was very good - eggs cooked perfectly and very good pan fries. Good coffee served in a large carafe which you will need while waiting.

I went for a windup banquet . There was a pre-set menu. Prime Beef, Salmon, Pork chops, and chicken were featured. We had a salad with raspberry dressing. Then to end the meal we had a very small slice of cake. The service was very good.

We go out for breakfast at least once a week and this is a must try. Breakfast special includes eggs, home made hash browns, toast and one choice of bacon, ham, or kulbassa, etc. You must try the ham. Tastes like a freshly cut slab off grandma's Easter ham, not too salty and oh so tasty. And of course a bottomless carafe of coffee right at your table at all times.Very friendly servers that really take care of you.

This is the second visit to the norvilla hotel. It's certainly not a super fancy hotel. But for someone who is traveling 1000+km to see family it's perfect- especially when you just need a clean bed and a shower . The beds are clean and comfortable, the rooms aren't disgusting but not spotless either. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bar patrons are a bit interesting- noise levels depend on where the room is.. Breakfast at the restaurant is amazing! Bottom line the price is right :)

The food here is actually quite good with Thomas Parry as chef,also the leasee of the restaurant.The service can range from absolutely horrible to ok.I have only experienced breakfasts which are reasonably priced and hearty.It's a **** nshoot.
